Pure Origin. Pure Energy.
Matcha society™
Our Matcha comes from traditional tea gardens in Kyoto. Carefully shaded, gently ground, and preserved in its purest form.
PREMIUM ORGANIC MATCHA
Our Premium Organic Matcha comes from certified organic cultivation in the traditional tea gardens of Kyoto. Careful shading before harvesting allows the leaves to develop their intense green color, a delicate natural sweetness, and a balanced umami profile.
Gently ground into the finest powder, the full power of the plant is preserved – rich in antioxidants, naturally invigorating, and pleasantly clear in taste.
Our Tea Farmer – Sakuro Seishō from Uji
In the venerable tea gardens of Uji, Kyoto, Sakuro Seishō (清正) works with a precision and dedication passed down through generations. Uji is considered the birthplace of Japanese matcha – a region that has stood for exceptional quality for centuries.
By carefully shading the tea plants before harvesting, the leaves develop their deep emerald green, natural sweetness, and fine, balanced umami. Harvesting occurs exclusively at the optimal time – with the highest standards for purity and taste.
The slow grinding in traditional stone mills preserves the tea's structure, aroma, and vibrant color. Every step follows a clear principle: quality arises from patience, experience, and respect for the plant.
With every bag of matcha, we carry on the signature of Sakuro Seishō (清正) – authentic, uncompromising, and deeply rooted in Japan's tea culture.
Rooted in Generations
For over three generations, Sakuro Seishō's family has dedicated itself to cultivating Tencha in the hills of Uji. What his grandfather began, he continues today with the same patience and precision.
Each harvest follows the rhythm of nature – carefully shaded, picked at the perfect moment, and processed with the utmost respect.
For Sakuro Seishō, Matcha is not a product, but a legacy.
